4Runner panhard link for '96-'02. We built these for massive abuse! Starting with 1.25" DOM tubing, we thread each end of the heavy wall tubing to accept huge 7/8" chrome-moly rod ends (heim joints). We precision machine the tubes for wrench flats as well for easy adjustment, and tightening of the jam nuts. Since all the tubing is machined there's no error of alignment or welds to distort threats with weld bungs. Jam nuts and special stainless steel misalignments finish them off! These slip into the stock brackets, and are designed to use the stock hardware for a perfect oem type fit! With the freedom of movement of these rod ends, these links allow for smoother travel, and increased drop of the suspension (provided the shocks allow it).
Set these up with our Lower Links, and Upper Links for a failure proof link setup on your Toyota 4Runner, and adjust your wheelbase, pinion angle, and axle location perfectly to your truck!

Fitment issues
The build quality is great. I threw on a coat of paint, let it dry, and continued the install. The upper connection point for the panhard bar is slightly off. Looks like the size of the heim joint is a little too big and touches the inside of the mount restricting movement and bolt hole alignment. I cant get the bolt all the way through. I am about to grind away a little material at the mount and if that doesn't work I will have to grind off a bit of the heim joint. Last ditch effort is to make the bolt hole slightly bigger to get the bolt through. Not the end of the world but for the price (and the part being vehicle specific) I expect it to fit without modifications.

If you are looking to replace your old rusty pan hard bar or have lifted your third gen look no further. This bar is solid and the joints are top notch and the adjustability is effortless. It's adustable!
seems stout, one solid piece with no welded on bungs for the heims. I was able to recenter my axle with this after lifting my runner with LC 8 wraps in the back.

As expected from FROR, a top quality panhard bar for the 3rd gen 4runners. The addition of the wrench slots on the end of the bar make it nice for easy adjustments and tightening of the rod ends.
