This new adjustable valve allows you to accurately adjust the pressure going to the rear brakes. The Proportioning Valve Kit is a necessity when switching to disk brakes, but can also be used with stock drum brakes, for an increase in rear braking power. Without this valve, the disks are likely to engage either too little or too much. This will result in the premature wearing of the front brakes, or locking up of the rear brakes.

Installation is easy and quick. Simply unscrew the rear brake line from the master cylinder, thread in an adapter line, the new proportion valve, a second adapter line, then connect your stock line back in with the union. Finally, bleed the brake system.

Please note that you must remove the stock load sensing valve, resulting in two totally separate front and rear brakes systems.
