Knuckle Ball Gusset Kit

No one likes their balls busted! We've found that under hard use, the factory knuckle balls can fail. Typically the housing actually bends about 1" behind the ball, where the "tube" is turned from the factory, creating a weak spot. However, they can fail, breaking the ball itself right where it is turned down. These gussets prevent both failures from happening. By over lapping the tube, well into the thick area of the tube, and the ball itself, failure is no longer a concern.

These gussets must be welded to the housings, and we do recommend removing the felts, knuckle, and inner axle seals to avoid melting them during welding.
